So long, wisdome teeth!
So today I went to the dentist to get a tooth checked out, because it was the last day that I would be covered by my parents' dental insurance. They found that one of my wisdom teeth had an abscess, and needed to come out soon. Because of my insurance situation, soon had to mean today, so I ended up getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. It was not how I was planning on spending the day, but I'll be better off in the long run. The procedure went fine, they had me numbed to the max with novocane and high on nitrous oxide, and I was listening to my iPod, so I was good. All day I've been having gross bloody gauze pulled from my mouth at a frequent rate, and minor to severe pain, which is helped only slightly by the oxycodone they prescribed me (honestly, the stuff hardly does anything to me). Now I'm on a steady diet of liquid food for a few days. Hooray. Tessa has been taking care of me though, I must give her credit for that. She made me dinner, did the dishes, and has pledged to make me breakfast tomorrow morning. She's a swell gal.
