sigh
so today was a bad day. to begin with, it's been nasty rainy. you know, the sort of rain that is drizzley off and on all day. plus, it's cold. today was the day the the summer officially died in columbus, ohio.
but the real reason this was such a bad day was i had my first costume fitting for Rocky Horror. lordy lord. all my positive body image was confronted today by the hard cold truth that i have no muscle tone whatsoever. so while i do look good in clothes, its a different story in my bra and panties. and they put me in a dress for an upcoming photo shoot (cause they're still building my actual dress) which was really unflattering. so the costume designer says to her assistant, "can we get her a belt so she doesn't look like such a sausage."
ohh, it was aweful! thank goodness the play is still 6 weeks away.
on a brighter shinier note, the decemberists are coming next friday. that'll be sweet.
