Aftermath
From the reports I've been reading here lately, I think I should consider myself lucky that I was at the marina when the earthquake hit. Unfortunately, it seems as if my home did not have that sort of luck.
It's mostly liveable now (thanks for the help Lulu, by the way - it was most appreciated), but I suspect I may have to abandon further plans for the marina at present, and stay here to affect repairs.
To the very nice couple who contacted me earlier about renting the place upstairs:
My apologies, but any dealings may need to be put on hold for the present. The place upstairs appears to have taken quite a few hits - it may take a few weeks at least, just to get things put back to rights again.
But you'll find all relevant details in a note I left at the hangar.
Other than that, it seems to be business as usual.
I trust everybody escaped mostly unscathed?
