Ugh, it's so very!
No school tomorrow! I am very excited about this. My absence from
school is all thanks to me working the election tomorrow. I'm excited,
hopefully it'll be big fun or else i'll die. I'm in a middle school...so
that in itself promises to be an adventure. I about want to kill myself
over the fact that i'll have to be up by 5.00.
In the past day or so i've discovered the magic of the 'showtunes' station on my television. Colour me stoked, but i about flipped when a song from Suessical came on AND i actually knew the song as well. I'm just floored at the things digital cable music stations can manage to pull from their asses.
I'm also floored by how great of a music day it's been for my ears. I blasted Kanye West's new song 'Gold Digger' on the way home today. I cannot get enough of that man, he is by far one of the best artist in his genre, and almost in general, to date. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. And as for the 'indie' side of things, THE STROKES HAVE A NEW SINGLE! 'Juicebox', as they've so cleverly named it, was played this afternoon in my car, volume all the way up, while calling Willa and screaming about it. It sounds nothing like the Strokes of yester year and i love it. This is most certainly a must have album of Janurary[it's drop date].
Well i actually think it's about time for me to be off 'n such. Not much else to talk about. The viewing season is to begin soon, i'm excited about this. Visiting other schools' productions of things we were going to do but couldn't is actually very enjoyable. I vote for theatre flings every month!
