So, I'm in a new show, and this time I really recommened that EVERYONE come see it. It's called Polaroid Stories.
Here is a brief description.
Inspired by Raised by Wolves, Jim Goldberg's groundbreaking photo essay on homeless youth, Naomi Iizuka conducted interviews with street kids and viscerally blended their devastating stories with the myths of Ovid's Metamorphoses to create Polaroid Stories. Speedracers, gods, and lovers collide in this fierce elegy where poetry is found within the profane and lost souls journey the streets of the Underworld in the pursuit of love, drugs and escape. Like their mythic counterparts, these modern-day mortals are remembered through the ritual of storytelling.
This show is NOT suitable for young children. So if you like profanity and violence this is the show for you!
