1. you forgot to close the one tag for arual.laura, so getting to the Hammock link was kinda difficult.
2. the Louis XIV song's been around for a while, first on the Illegal Tender EP, then All the Best Secrets Are Kept LP. Still a good song.
3. MCR...despite what people might say, they make good records. I wouldn't say amazing, but solid. I wasn't particularly with the story (but then again I'm not big on concept albums), but the songs were good. Haven't found one I like as much as "Thank You For the Venom", but "Dead!" is a good track. When I first heard "Welcome to The Black Parade", I immediately thought "that's MCR doing a bad impression of Queen". When MCR acts like MCR, they're good. And, believe it or not, they do a good show.
4.John Legend? Nice.
5. You know, I was having a discussion with one of my indietastic friends from back home, and we were discussing our favorite albums of the year. Mine was TV on the Radio-Return to Cookie Mountain, she went with Thom Yorke-The Eraser. I gave her a listof the albums I liked that I thought were really good, and I forgot one-Gnarls Barkley-St. Elsewhere. That was a non sequitur, sorry about that.
