google being totally weird
So sometimes I google parts of things I've written to see if they've been reblogged elsewhere. Lately though, I've been getting completely unrelated results, and even though I type the phrase in quotes, I get results on the front page that sometimes contain none of the keywords whatsoever. What is this about? Have you noticed this happening?
See, the first few results contain the phrase and then it jumps to summer nutrition programs and guitars. WTF.
P.S this is not a post about my writing or whether it is dumb or not, it's about google being super sketch.
However, I started googling my stuff because nutty people started posting it as theirs and sometimes making up weird backstories and it's really creepy, so talk about people ganking your writing/art/other images without credit and passing them off as their own, if you want.
