Astroland Receives Last Rites!
September 7, 2008 -- Astroland, beloved playground of the people will close today after 45 years of rides and delight. The operators were unable to negotiate a new lease with developer Joe Sitt and are thought to be moving the rides to Honduras.
Come join Savitri D, Saint Dick Zigun, and Reverend Billy as they put the developer in charge of this travesty on trial.
Between 2 and 4pm we will prowl around but meet us at 3pm in front of Coney Island USA for the main event.
