I really wish the series could have focused more on Sarah and Derek working as a team and how damn good at it they would have been, but I guess that's what fanfic is for, right? I will warn that Caroline is a paramedic and it comes through in some of the injury descriptions, but trust me, it's well worth the vivid descriptions for the human connection between Connor and Funny Derek.
