(no subject)
so it turns out that i have strep throat or so the doctors believe, the official word comes on monday/tuesday.
i was at the beth israel ER for around 5 hours, thankfully i had mercedes wait for me and i really appreciate that, like she wouldnt believe.
she could've easily left, but i'm glad she stuck around for the 5 hours.

because of the pain, i cried in front of both of my doctors because the pain and the amount of waiting time were completely unbareable.
my tonsils are swollen beyond belief, so yea thats fun. i cant swallow because it hurts, i cant eat because it hurts.
so thankfully the doctor gave a cocktail of drugs to make me feel better and right now i do. i should pick up my prescription at CVS but its raining sooo hard out that i'm just not going to bother.
so what i thought was just a cold or the flu turned to this. great
at least it wasnt what they originally thought it was, which an accumulation of matter behind my tonsils. gah.
i hate being sick,
i didnt go to class on thursday because i just wasnt feeling well and i forced myself to get up on wednesday to make it to polisci and i was trembling all class.
i want this to go away as soon as possible.
it needs to go away.

so i'm going back to bed and watch TLC for the rest of the night :) like i would've have done back home.
also, thanks claire and carolyn for taking care of my on wednesday and thursday.
