when i'm not myself
so the last few days have been great. i can't really complain.
i had the longest weekend of my life, 5 days. thanks christopher columbus, i'm sure that when you "discovered" America, he wished that college students have long weekends, so thanks .. a lot.
like always everyone at simmons leaves, so the dorms were quiet and empty... i love that way soo much, as i've heard soo many people describe my lovely college .."great school, horrible social life" .. definately understood during the long weekends.
and whats a weekend without the frat parties, those are always interesting.
christy came over from amherst, that was fucking great.
she met the girls and we hung out and went shopping, i'm glad that she came over, shes soo adorable, we might road trip soon... so i really hope it works out, she got me really excited about it. heheh
yesterday i bought my plane ticket for spain .... and i'm still all :D
so i leave for madrid on january 23, 2007 and i'll be there until late may, because i need to backpack and such.
and of course i couldnt be more excited :)
my parents flew up for the day yesterday, it was great having them here, i miss them and their parent smell.
it reminds me of home and the comforts of it.
there's nothing like that smell that reminds you of home and the reminds you of why you went away in the first place.
i can't complain though, i have great, supportive parents, i guess thats all i really need in order to be an outstanding adult ... that and a great childhood.
school is great and stressful.
2 papers due next monday and tuesday.
i got my first econ test today, i could've done much better, stupid mistakes.. like always, but i can definately improve that.
i just need to get through this semester and prove to myself that i'm a good student, well i know that i am, but c'mon i know i can do better.
so for now i need to get back to reading for econ.
and so another weekend is just around the corner and i couldn't be happier
and omg, Project fucking Runway is intense! like a novela hahhaha
