Over the last several weeks I've been going through my things, purging them and making way for change in my life. This has inevitably carried over into my online life. The process of going through old journal entries and tossing the ones that are no longer relevant is very. very nice.
I've also gone back and re-embedded my LJ into my website just so the folks who bother to check every 6-12 months actually have something dynamic to look at now. I would not be surprised to find the only person reading my website or my LJ any more is me. Though if you've stopped by to peruse my entries I do appreciate your stopping by.
Comments are turned off because I don't want this journal to turn into the kind of thing Facebook has turned into: a place to gauge one's worth on the social stock ticker. It's not that I don't want feedback for my entries--if you're compelled to comment, you're welcome to message me. This is more a practise space for writing, a place to experiment and express without the school-ingrained expectation that there will be grading/punishment/judgement.
Expression without fear, without anticipation of the reactions of others. A pinboard for thoughts, ideas. Spring needs that kind of creative energy.
