Some jerk that subscribed to the Whoville list did nothing but lurk for a whole month...Only to make her first post yesterday, and it was one of the stupidest, most obnoxious at that. I forwarded what had been said on the Save Cookie list over to my Whoville list, including emails from other people and myself yesterday. All in all, about 5 posts.

Hehe - I wish you could've torn this chick a new one, that would've been cool. But trolls are usually so dim they simply don't know when or how to shut up. One of my friends had a really good one for her, "Who made you the list god" or something to that effect. Lol! My eyes are still rolling over the whiner's complaint over 5 messages. She should try going on one of the incredimail lists, where people swap stationery, tags and whatnot. Those lists can get tuly insane, as in 255 to 500 emails per day. Yikes! I was on such a list because my friend was a mod. But I had to quit because the bulk of the email wasn't addressed to me - that list had people's names in the subject line whoever the message was for. And I was tired of sorting through those emails to delete most and pick out others that were meant for me. And even my friend has complained about the massive volume of mail coming through there. So, that, I can see. But snarking over a single digit number of emails?
hehe - I was pretty direct with her, but usually my responses are short snappy when somebody's directed a petty flame at me. If trolls flame a friend or even another list member, I can really go after them like their worst nightmare. You should see what I did to these flaming idiots that posted a bunch of crap in forums, lists, and the guestbook of a now ex-friend - who, as it turned out, had issues as serious as her flamers did. This ex-friend and her flamers both had a very childish crush/obsession with a Gundam Wing character called Treize Khushrenada. But flamers wanted him to be with his girlfriend in the series, Lady Une. And, the flamers either thought they were Lady Une or else there to do her bidding. They acted like slaves to this stupid character. And ex-friend, wanted Lady Une out of the picture altogether, because she was jealous of her. Ex-friend made up her own character, who she wrote in a rather sickening romance with her crush, Treize. And, she wrote her character as not only being attractive to Treize, but to every single red-blooded male within sight. Both ex-friend and flamers loved erotica, but one camp wanted Treize and Une erotica, the other camp wanted fan-created character and Treize erotica. And I hate the whole stinkin lot. But must as I secretly cringed at ex-friend's stories, I still hated the stalking and harassment being done to her by the flamers. And because they couldn't stand the idea that anyone could dare to dislike Lady Une, I made it a point to shoot Une down to them every chance I got. I didn't deal with Treize until ex-friend went loco and decided I was one of her flamers. And I think that was because what I was critisizing them for, hit her too close to home as well. When we parted company, I revised my Urban Legendary Experience page to tear into Treize as well. I became much nastier to him in my "Bad Dog" story too, where I turned Lady Une into the worst behaved dog you could imagine, and Treize, her pompus, self-adoring master. I also wrote a parody on really bad writing, gave the main character a long name, consisting of all the aliases those flamers ever used, to my knowledge. And I ended up laughing my head off doing all of that.
Oh, man, that girl who says "It's just a stupid muppet" WTH? Like, argh, you were right to take her off your MSN list if she's going to be that appethetic. I get really ticked off too when people react that way to something I feel really passionate about, too. Well, she'll have only herself to blame if she doesn't fight for what's still right and good with the world, and the greenies and food police eventually tackle something near and dear to her own heart.
My air purifier came today. Cool. Now that'll help cut down a great deal on the sand and dust in here when my chinchilla has her bath.
TTYL, thanks for the neat post, and welcome to my little corner of cyberspace! Hehe - I sound off in here quite a bit, but then I can get whatever it is off my chest and end up feeling better for it, often all smiles again. And if I can make someone laugh or feel glad they can relate, all the better. It always makes me feel good when I see people are as fed up with chain letter forwards for example, as I am. :)
