slightly embarassing secrets
I have declared today - Admit Something About Yourself Which You Don't Usually Like to Admit Day!
Could also be called Very Long Title Day!
I'm at work, I'm a bit bored (okay, a lot bored) and your responses would go a long way toward brightening my Saturday, so what do you say?
Here's my slightly embarrassing thing - pictures of outfits
I essentially have a catalogue of pictures of myself, on my computer, in differing outfits. You see, a few months ago I realized that I was just wearing the same few outfits over and over and over again and not really utilizing even of a fraction of my wardrobe. So, I made an effort to start planning outfits, mixing and matching all my different pieces and jewellery, and every time I came up with something I liked I got the boy to take a picture of me in it, which I then filed away for future reference.
Crazy?
Maybe a little (or a lot!), but now that I've come up with about 40 (and counting!) different outfits I really feel like I have this wonderful, rich wardrobe, that I have tonnes of different things to wear and different looks (which I don't tire of, because I now have so many different things to wear!). And, if I'm stuck in the morning? I just look up the pictures in my computer and there is always something fabulous at my fingertips, so when I'm tired and groggy I don't have to think about it.
I love shopping.
I love clothes. I do have a decent amount of them (but my closest isn't bursting). And, I love putting together a great outfit. This has kind of turned into a hobby of mine.
Am I a dork? Yup. Do I usually explain this to many people? Not so much because I don't think that this is something many (or any) people do.
