Swades - We The People
Swades (motherland) movie was made in 2004 and one of the best 'thought provoking' film of Indian Cinema. Certainly one of favourite films.
Plot Outline : A successful Indian scientist returns to an Indian village to take his nanny to America with him and in the process rediscovers his roots.
Scene Outline : While coming back to village he witnesses the real India that lives in villages. He sees a child selling water for his livelihood in just 25 cents.
No wonder the movie was flop. Because it was dealing with the reality and making people to think. It had no fuckin family dramas, couples dancing around the tree and nonsense fight scenes in it that the masses want to see.
