The Coquina was a teal 38 ft sailboat resting on the second pier in the port marina. The captain was Doc "Hot Dog" Donnely. His wife, Mindy, was responsible for every other task on the vessel. We were the additional novice crew responsible for eating all of the wonderful snacks below deck and getting out of the way during tacks and jibes, and of course looking cute for the camera as Doc would frequently leave the wheel unmanned to snap a shot.

It was my third time sailing, but number one in my heart.
