So the art history classes at Babylon U completely suck. I can't tell if it's because they just don't know or they just don't care.

Either way, it sucks. I think they're trying to frustrate me into becoming a productive member of society, or something. Haha, no.

Ah... what kind of history does Babylon have? Is it all things we already know?

Mostly, yeah. I mean there's the stuff about the construction of this place and the war that led to it being necessary, but otherwise it's all been done before.

And the art history is way worse. There's a whole class on something called "The Stick Figure Movement" which... far as I can tell is some guy who got bored and drew stick figures on his math homework.

I guess there are some histories that aren't that interesting. Still, I think I'd like to know it. The walls here speak, especially if we're going to be stuck here...

Ah! Stick figures, really?

I've always been a bit skeptical of history. It's all so biast, depending on who wrote it. Anything that isn't a video feed can be skewed. Hell, even a video feed can be skewed if it's edited right.

Apparently around 2090 people started really stretching for artistic value.

Sometimes you can find out what really went on for yourself.

Ehh I haven't time traveled in ages. Too much of a headache for me to deal with on a regular basis.

Ah! So you can time travel? For real?

Yup. But like I said, serious headache.

Still! That's kind of cool! I didn't know you had those kind of powers.

Ah! How rude of me, I don't think we've met? I'm Natsume Aya, it's a pleasure to meet you.

I don't really make a habit of bragging about it. I've only ever had to transport myself through time a couple of times and it's usually been a drastic situation.

Likewise. I'm Rachel Grey.

You must be really powerful, Grey-san.

When they were handing out all the freaky-powered supergenes I was apparently standing in the epic lineage line. And please, call me Rachel. I don't really do the whole formal surname thing.

Ah, Rachel-san.

Powers like that run in your family? Mine too.

Do you have to travel into the past to see what happened, or can you see it without going?

Yeah. The Summers and Grey lines are pretty powerful, where I'm from.

I can throw just my consciousness into the past, but I can't tell from the present, no.

That's amazing! To have such a powerful family!

Ah, I see. I was just curious. Thank you for answering my questions. ^_^

Ah yes, I do remember the critically acclaimed stick figure exhibit at the Louvre.

Seriously, that's just depressing.
