(no subject)
So the new job search is on. I spent about 8 hours yesterday registering for various employment search engines. One letter came today (x5) about an insurance company in Chicago. Insurance?? but i guess i will check out the possibilities. At least it would be a steady job, in another city, but, insurance??
i think this week i will have worked 55+hours by the time sunday night has finished. Missing a week and a half and all, I guess i should do it. I will finally be trained as a server at mongolian bbq at the end of this week, i still cant believe i had to host first, but at least they didnt make me do it very long. Im still currious to hear what sdba will say when I go to work tomorrow, i think they may offer me a full time position, but then im stuck here longer. I just hope the government gets a hold of me soon to tell me about my job in chicago that they should give me.
after spending a week and a half in dc w. becky and justin, i decided a gov job wouldnt be bad. becky says she does nothing, and our wonderful, rotten govt. wont even get around to training her properly till the end of the year!! yeah dept. of defense! yeah tax dollars!! bullshit.
i returned sunday and saw my boy for 1.25 hours including the drive home. and then he left to camp in the mountains by himself for 4 days. i think his idea of fun is a little different than mine. hopefully he will come back with a more positive outlook on life. I miss him, but it makes having to work all the time not bad since i dont have any other possible plans (except cleaning the house which i couldnt do this afternoon cuz they made me stay till 5).
anyway. have to get show tickets soon for blonde redhead at the very least. that will be my birthday show this year, or death cab, but i probably wont go to that. cant believe im almost 23. i guess we are having a party but i dont know when yet. i dont really care whether we do or not. it would be fun i guess.
