needy boy
We had a very nice weekend. All three of us were home for three days which is a rarity. It was very relaxing and very fun and we spent a lot of time together.
Yesterday Dominick was especially needy for my attention so we played all.day.long. Pictionary, yahtzee, pillow fights, cooking, reading, riding bikes, going to the park. I am not sure why he was especially needing my attention yesterday but I enjoyed it. Honestly, I have a pretty short attention span playing children's games so while Dominick gets a lot of my attention it is generally in small bursts. I don't, nor have I ever, had a super active imagination so playing cars or make believe games where I have to come up with dialogue just doesn't get very far with me.
The rest of the weekend we just hung around the house. It is a good weekend when I can't even remember what I did. Means it was spent relaxing which is exactly what it is for.
