peanut butter popcorn balls
We made these last week but I wanted to wait to post until I had a picture.
5 cups popped popcorn (I used about 2/3 of one microwave bag)
1/2 cup peanuts (I didn't have any)
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
Place popcorn and peanuts in large bowl, toss to mix, and set aside. In a small saucepan over medium heat cook corn syrup and sugar until in a rolling boil (7 minutes or so) stirring occassionally. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Drizzle over popcorn and peanuts and combine to coat with spoon. When the mixture has cooled slightly pack popcorn into small balls about two inches each. Place on wax paper to cool.
