2. DOES SANTA WRAP PRESENTS OR JUST SIT THEM UNDER THE TREE?
Wraps them!
3. COLORED LIGHTS ON THE TREE / WHITE?
Traditionally I have always had colored lights. This year though, I am going to try white.
4. DO YOU HANG MISTLETOE?
Nope.
5. EVER BEEN KISSED UNDER THE MISTLETOE?
Does by my mom count?
6. WHEN DO YOU PUT YOUR DECORATIONS UP?
The stockings are already hung on the mantel and the tree goes up this weekend. I am minimalist with the decorations.
7. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY DISH (EXCLUDING DESSERT)?
My mom's raisin sauce for the ham.
8. FAVORITE HOLIDAY MEMORY AS A CHILD?
My grandpa came to see us a few years after my grandmother died (I think I was 9). He rode a bus from New Mexico and arrived late on Christmas Eve. We all stayed up and talked well past midnight. He told us we had better go to bed or that Santa wouldn't be able to visit. Of course, I no longer believed in Santa at that point and he knew it ;P. That is my favorite memory of him.
9. BEST GIFT YOU'VE GIVEN SOMEONE?
I dunno. I've never really thought of it like that.
10. DO YOU OPEN A GIFT ON CHRISTMAS EVE?
Heck yeah!
11. HOW DO YOU DECORATE YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE?
Lights and ornaments that have been collected over the years. Right now I currently have an angel on top of the tree but this year I will be looking for a beautiful star.
12. SNOW!! LOVE IT OR HATE IT?
On Christmas Eve only as long as it lingers through the next day. Other than that, I can do without it.
13. CAN YOU ICE SKATE?
Rarely do it but I am sure I still could.
14. DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FAVORTIE GIFT?
I have several but here is one story. One year my mother bought me this pink knit skirt and sweater set. I was not a girly girl quite like that but I loved it and wore it all the time. She was pretty pleased about that.
15. WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS FOR YOU?
Family.

I have so many......my absolute favorite is probably pumpkin pie.

Putting up the tree while listening to holiday music, drinking hot chocolate, and munching on yummy snacks.

House stuff. I still feel like I am living back in my super poor days when everything I bought was from a thrift store.

In the evening after work.

I've skied. I don't really love it though.

I'd do it again but haven't in a LONG time.

Nope. Just send cards. It gets WAY too expensive.

My brother will be here for the Seahawks Christmas Eve game with Denise. I am going with them to that. Then they are staying in a hotel (thank GAWD). For the first time ever it will just be the immediate family. I can't wait!
