"you don't look a lot better, you're awfully pale" --- "OH! thats okay, shes always that way."
i went to the nintendo fusion on wednesday. we had a half day so that was good.
the bands that played were panic! at the disco, boys night out, motion city soundtrack, the starting line, and fall out boy--and they played in that order.
it was a good show. really good. except for my near death experience in the middle of fall out boy playing. i think it was due to my not taking in enough fluids and perhaps it being so hot in there.
anyway, i started getting light-headed and feeling dizzy and like i was going to throw up. of course, im somewhat of a jokester so when i said 'omg i think im gonna pass out', amanda, lauren, and krissy (whom i was hanging out with at the time bc loris had gone to get water) thought i was joking. but when i kept repeating it and finally leaned on amanda's shoulder thinking i was going to fall down at that very moment, they believed me. so amanda helped guide me out of the crowd and it was just getting worse as i kept moving. finally we got to the lobby-ish part, and i was like swaying back and forth and i couldn't see that well...and we get to this security guard and hes like "whats wrong with you?" and i was like "I don't..." and he passed me off to this other security guard and that guy was like "Here sit out here for a while." So I sat outside until i felt better. only problem was that once you went out you couldn't go back in, so i was worried i ruined the whole concert for amanda since she escorted me out and i thought we weren't going to get back in. but then i went up to the guard and was like:
me: (to the security guard) sir may i please go back in since you escorted me out
security guard: are you feeling better?
me: yea a lot better thanks
security guard: you don't look a lot better, you're awfully pale
amanda: OH! thats okay, shes always that way.
haha. i almost lost it right there but i kept my laughter in long enough until he allowed us back in. thank you bald-headed security man.
so we went back into the crowd. it was like the last 3 songs. for the last song fob was like "if any of you can get up here on this stage you can dance with us." so you see kids rushing to the front, including myself. krissy and i rushed in (since we found her and lauren again) and didn't get on the stage, but ended up getting like a foot away from the guitar player. sexy.
after the concert we went to the budd lake diner. and ordered pretty much, the most interesting array of food i've ever seen in my life.
i ended up getting home at 2 am. thank god we didn't have school the next day.
overall, the night was quite enjoyable.
oh and yesterday was thanksgiving. it went just swell.
