We need to change course a little. Pearl-chan is on a small island on her own, and we're fairly nearby, so I told her we'd pick her up. I hope that's all right.

Oh, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at our party.

It's hardly being modest. The other option is to just ignore her and hope someone else finds her before she starves to death or worse, and of course I wouldn't do that.
