(no subject)
Happy 4th of July everyone!
My day was quite interesting:
6:30 AM- Woke up and dressed myself in proper "parade" attire, consisting of a white t-shirt and jeans. Tried to start my car, unsuccessfully, and asked my dad to give me a ride to Mike's. Arive at Mike's around 7:30.
8:00 AM- Arrive at the parade, and find CK and a multitude of WTP current members and alumni. CK shows us the flag, which is 40 ft. long and 20 ft. wide. But, instead of holding it up, like we all thought we would, it turned out you had to wear the flag. By wear, I mean that the flag consisted of dresses that you slipped over yourself. Quite interesting.
12:00 PM- Finish parade and get home. Immeadiately crash on the couch, only to be woken up with my dad screaming at the TV as Italy scores a goal. Decide to wake up. The tow truck comes to pick up our car, and he is able to start it. So we saved a towing and possible fixing, which is good.
5:00 PM - I go to Shahob's house, accompanied by Madhav. We play PS2 for a while, then I leave at 6.
6:00 PM- Go to my uncle's house for a 4th of July BBQ. Eat a lot of food, and other things. Because they live in Newark, fireworks are legal. Therefore, they bought a whole assortment of fireworks, and we spent an hour setting them off, with many close-calls that almost led to catastrophes.
11:00 PM- I sit here writing this entry.
