AAAAAAAH. I don't want to say this eerily sums up all the anti-sex Christians in my state. But it might. Pharyngula via Slog: Christian Minister's Sex Advice.

"Understand that there is no need for all this desire and emotion nonsense." AAAAAAAAH.

Um, anyway, it does amuse me to think of poor Schuldig just lying back and thinking of Germany. Or ( Read more... )

Haha-- oh, probably not. It's saddening and/or infuriating. But the link in bold actually goes to Slog (the link to the original sadcakes post is available on that page), so Dan Savage couches it in a good dose of humor. ;)

Erm, no. It isn't even logical since it's guaranteed to make couples despise each other. Desire and emotional support are the only reasons for sex - unless you just want to pop out progeny. If desire is missing, then emotional support is a feel-good alternative. If emotional support is missing, it's time to find something else that's fun and relaxing to do together, or go for counselling and work out those issues.

"Don't be so ridiculous," Crawford said as Schuldig tried to kiss him. "If I wanted to date a schoolgirl, I'd kidnap one. This is a purely logical working arrangement that helps us both relax enough to get unbroken sleep. Roll over."

Schuldig did so, wearily propping himself against the pillows. He really wished Crawford would buy him flowers, just once.

LOL! Thank you--this is awesome. I am torn between fufufufufu and AAAAAAAH! XD

Surely this is why Schuldig plays mind games with Crawford: dude's starved for love and romance.

Ahahaha, what. No, I am pretty sure that for most people, sex is not like cleaning the toilet. You know, at all. I have never known anyone who who actually gets any enjoyment out of toilet-cleaning, ever.

I mean, I get that he's probably saying that sometimes, in a marriage, passion wanes but you still are physically intimate because it binds you together. (That is what he's saying, right?!) But wow, dude, that is just an awful metaphor to use to make that point.

I'm not clicking because I don't want to read stupid.

The Schuldig example does sound like a particularly dramatic Rosenkreuz fic, though :p. And while I can't quite see Hakkai suffering something like that I can see him putting it on a list ;).

Heh heh, it does--something where Schuldig submits to lotsandlotsandlots of passionless sex. For duty's sake! And then Crawford comes along and things become eye-openingly hotter, pls.

I can aaaaaaaaaaaaalmost see Hakkai forcing himself through the motions if only because he is so stubborn, but hopefully Gojyo would call him on the bullshit. ;)
