One that's been stewing in my head for the past year. >.> I actually had written some of it out, but I deleted it all when I realized the premise made no sense. Now I've reworked it completely (it's totally different now, more realistic, hopefully). It's vampire-themed, which I guess is getting old, but I still stand by the fact that I was obsessed with vampires long before they were popular. >.>

Anyway, it's sort of a different idea of vampires, though - I'm establishing the idea that the original vampires were a species that could breed and did not need to drink blood, and that the vampires they ended up making were the ones that required blood to live. One of these "second generation" vampires wants to establish a coup d'etat to overthrow the Council of original vampires and he's doing so by using the half-vampire daughter of one of them. Hopefully it ends up reading more realistically than it sounds, lol.

What about you? What's your story about?

Your idea sounds intriguing. Hopefully, you'll post some of it as you go along or after you finish. I'd love to read it.

Mine is sort of a fantasy story. I haven't gotten a clear idea yet, but I want to write about a world where there are summoners and companions. Basically, they're a fated pair - they're born at the same time, and there is only one companion for any summoner. Companions are humans who can shape shift into animals and execute the summoner's spells. They can't shape-shift without their summoner and a summoner can't do spells without them, so they need each other. So, everything will sorta build upon that. XD God, reading it over, it sounds so boring lol.

That sounds awesome - I can't imagine the sort of relationships that would arise from that. Very interesting indeed. :D
