(no subject)
So I injured my finger on Wednesday and got sick on Friday, not to mention a couple of bug bites. So I've been feeling pretty crappy until today, which was great because my friend Brian managed to get free Dodger tickets for today's game. I went with him, Ricky and Rick's coworker. At the game I got to see:
- Manny hit a home run.
- A marriage proposal on the big screen.
- A fan run onto the field and get tackled by security.
- Manny at bat with the bases loaded. No grand slam, but did manage to drive-in two runs with a double (place was raucous).
- The Dodgers' score 7 runs in an inning.
- The Dodgers' first base coach catch a foul ball barehanded.
- Rick: "Kemp's gonna hit a solo home run." Me: "There's someone on base." Rick: "Okay, two-run home run." and Kemp proceeds to do just that.
- The Dodgers' relief pitcher bean the Brewers' star in the 9th with 2 out as retaliation for the Brewers beaning Manny earlier and get ejected.
Awesome game.

I didn't even hear the music, everyone was making so much noise. The place was about 80% full. I can't even imagine how bananas it must be when it's sold out.
