NY, Inspiration, North Light...
My trip to NY has ended and I am filled with inspiration, spiritually and artistically. My last afternoon before heading back home, I managed to get out to the Throckmorton Gallery to see the exhibition, CLASSIC BEAUTY: Photographs of Female Nudes, featuring the work on Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Lucien Clergue, Valdir Cruz, Fritz Henle, Flor Garduño, and Edward Weston. To see some of the Master Pieces that have etched their way into my brain right in front of me was fantastic. And somewhat new comer, Valdir Cruz had 2 photos that will be embedded in my brain. That visit, along with the rest of the New York visit and all I got the chance to see has been incredibly inspiring.
