Damn it. I want a Jayne hat.
Ya' know, I know that at least 2 people love me. And that those people crochet &/or knit. I don't think it's asking too much for a Jayne hat. Am I right?
Stacey & I just returned from some very much needed walk-around-the-mall-with-no-kid time. It was lovely. We got our nails done, went to the pet store & looked at some cute clothes. I learned something new & quite creepifying today at the pet store about hamsters. You know, those cute little furry rodents that you put in kids bedrooms & let them cuddle & play with? Well, they're fucking CANNIBALS! Waddling around in the cage, was the cutest, tiniest little runt teddy bear hamster I've ever seen, I fell madly in love with it, but it had a little bloody spot on it's nose. I thought another hamster may have hurt it & didn't want it to get sick so I got one of the employees to come look at it. She then proceeded to tell me that they had just gotten done eating one of their fellow cute & fuzzy hamsters who had apparently died in there or whatever. So, I am now officially freaked. *shivers* Kinda like that guinea pig obsession I had once, but the hamster thing is bothering me just a little more than that. I was doing some research on them (guinea pigs) on the internet & found out that they eat their own poop. And not like, whenever they get a little hungry, or whatever, but as a part of their regular diet EW! So that's when I chose my sweet rat Willow, may she rest in peace.
Anyway *sigh* we then went to Target where I did NOT have to go to the toy department or anywhere near it. That, in & of itself, was worth the entire trip. And then we sat in the car & discussed politics for almost an hour. It was all very nice.
So I'm going to go eat something now, as I'm wasting away to nothing.
Cue hysterical laughter.
Nah, I just haven't eaten since breakfast & I'm really, really hungry.
