I've been reading the Bridget Jones' Diary books, which are very fun for girls by the way, and I've noticed that I'm starting to think in Brit-talk. Actually, I've noticed before that I tend to adopt the linguistic mannerisms of whatever I'm reading--I'm particularly insufferable when reading anything with a lot of archaic language, like Tolkein. I remember even at as a young Roald Dahl fan being marked down for my spelling of the word "colour" in a school paper.

Anyways, it's all I can do to avoid saying things like "I'll ring you later" and "Should we meet at your flat?"

I am still housebound. Aaaa. Must obtain car tomorrow, even if it does mean having to wake up early to drop mom off at work.
