I'M FINALLY DONE WITH ALL MY PAPERS, HOLIDAY TIME NOW!
I've got like tons of photos to upload for all the events which happened before & during exams. So here goes!
Early celebration of our 62nd Monthsary (April 25)
After great talking & recommendations on Twitter, I finally made reservations with
@thegardenslug (twitter account managed by 1 of the directors) for our pre-celebration for the 62nd Monthsary (: The place is quite accessible, check out their website for the map & how to get there! We drove there and parking was made available & convenient for us.
Our starter was this Platter of awesome seafood. The smoked salmon was too good to be true. The breaded prawns & calamari rings were not bad too!
This was the Special Main Dish for the day ordered by girlfriend, I can't recall the name of the Pasta, but it sure was Potato & Cheese overloaded.
My steak that I ordered, medium rare. Super yummy, tender & juicy! I love how their mash potato isn't similar to what you get outside, the sauce & the potato skin.
This was the best dessert I ever had! It was a Special Dessert for the day as well. We had the last one if I'm not wrong. The Vanilla Gelato was just the right amount of sweetness & the chocolate lava cake is to die for!
I remember asking the waiter to serve us the dessert & he said "I'll go fire up your chocolate lava cake for you". How cute!

Day before girlfriend's enlistment (stayover on April 27)
Girlfriend came to pick me up after work with my huge bag of clothes & stuff for school the next day. We headed to Dominos @ Kovan for suppertime!
We ordered a personal pizza (hawaiian flavour), a box of breadsticks (my favourite!) & a box of onion rings. The breadsticks & onion rings have this awesome "seasoning" on it which is cheesy & nice. All in all, I love the food alot.
Free delivery with every pizza purchased!
After which we headed back to girlfriend's crib, spent some quality time, talking through how we're gonna lead our lives together (or apart) from the day she enlists.
28 April 2010
We woke up really early to head down to Changi V for breakfast with girlfriend's family. Took our time to head to the SAF ferry terminal to wait for her other mates & the ferry to Tekong. It was a choppy ride. Reached there only to be separated immediately. We had to go on a tour around the place, it was boring.
Then the swearing in at the auditorium & lunch together, a family photo together & she had to leave ):
I thought I could hold myself together when she left, but I was wrong. I started the ball rolling of tears, then her sister & her mum. ZOMG, teared all the way to the ferry.

I'll stop here for now, back aching like crazy, will update again about what has been taking place after girlfriend's first book out & all. For now, she's away for field camp, no phones for one whole week, I'm missing her like crazy right now.
