Hey! Sorry I haven't updated. Was really busy for 2 days after I got home - shopping with my mom and stuff. And then I got sick. Like, throwing up sick. Not cool. I'm better now though.
Also, I got an iPod video! :-D It's 30gb. The color screen is like... whoa.
I have 3 of my 4 final grades in. A, A-, and B+. I'm just waiting for the Policies final grade. The social work office is closed until after the New Year now, so I'll have to wait. Grrr. I also have to wait to find out if I pass or fail my internship for the semester. I'm expecting to pass.
So anyways, here's a year-end meme thing that I stole from

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
* Graduate from college
* Chartered flights. They kick ass.
* Live in NYC. Also kick ass.
* Be a counselor. With actual clients.
* Go to grad school.
* Be a bridesmaid in a wedding.

Nope, don't make them.

Nope.

My grandmother, at the beginning of the year.

None.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A nice cuddly boy to share the year with. ;-)

May 21st. Graduation! Also the day my shoes killed my feet.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating is a pretty big deal, I think.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Mmm, didn't really have one. Well, my iPod failed. Does that count?
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Injury - no. Illness - yes. Including just the past few days.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Tickets for Brandi Carlile and Joshua Radin. LOVE. Also, the iPod off of eBay for $100 (this included shipping). Not bad at all.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Ummm I don't know. The puppy Max, because he learned how to sit and shake.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled?
Certain politicians.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Schoooooooool. And school books.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to San Diego. Moving to NYC. Joshua Radin!(!!!!!) Grey's Anatomy (as usual).

Anything by Brandi Carlile, Joshua Radin. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars. The Fray - How to Save a Life. Gnarls Barkley - Crazy.

About the same.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Hung out with more friends. Spent more time on final papers. Gone to see Tristan Prettyman/Ray LaMontagne.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sitting around and doing nothing. And spending money.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At home. With my crazy family and my cute little dogs.
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
With some musical artists. But otherwise, no.

Uhhh none.

Grey's Anatomy. Then Heroes, Studio 60, VMars, Brothers and Sisters.

Naw.
25. What was the best book you read?
The Chamber, by John Grisham. Also Nickle and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenkranz.
26. Who/what was your greatest musical discovery?
Joshua Radin, Amos Lee, Vienna Teng, Tom McRae, Matt Nathanson. I think only Joshua was actually a *new* artist, but they were all new and wonderful to me.
27. What did you want and get?
To get into grad school in NY. Video iPod.
28. What was your favourite film of this year?
Um... wow, I saw a LOT, but most of them were not films from this year. Let me review the Netflix queue... The Constant Gardener, The United States of Leland, Bend It Like Beckham. And The Last Kiss - the movie only I liked, apparently.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I really don't remember if I did anything on my birthday... it was the day after graduation. I turned 23.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
To have gone to the Tristan Prettyman/Ray LaMontagne concert. ;-)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Work-related clothes - so, black pants and button down shirts. I do love button-down shirts. Especially from NYandCo. Also, casual - jeans and a tank top or t-shirt (tee preferably from Roxy, Lilu, Billabong, or Fossil).
32. What kept you sane?
Music, fandoms, friends. And oreo cookie bark.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
The horse Barbaro.
34. Who did you miss?
My AA friends - I actually weaned myself away from that place this year. All my midwest friends while I'm away in NYC.
35. Who was the best new person you met this year?
My roommate, Lisa. Also this one girl in some of my classes, Frances. She's hilarious!
36. Did you enjoy this year?
I suppose. It started out rocky, then got better.

My mom. Or Tory (on our "phone dates," haha).

Straight As. But I didn't really try all that hard.

Always bring an extra $5 with you for taxi fare, in case you miss the bus.
Now my sis and I are going shopping for our dad's present, and some other random stuff. I'm going to wear my new Ugg clogs! :-D
