no one who reads this journal really knows what i'm talking about, but LoC has closed down, finally. 'tis a truly mixed emotion that i have about that. over 1500 hours spent at that place, none of which i can get back, but the memories it created... the memories. that place was all about human interaction when i had no other way to get any. the immortals were douche bags, but the code was good, and the people were semi-likable. i've spent almost 3 1/2 years at that place playing off and on. i spent two summers playing that game. i don't mean i played it during two summers. i mean i played it 9 hours a day at least every day over two summers. not to mention the many nights i spent playing during the school year.
and the place is shut down.
