(no subject)
Today I went shopping. And I spent money on myself?!?!? And a nice dinner (with appetizer and dessert, of course) at the Olive Garden? Yes, today I indulged. I deserved it.
Things started off rocky with work, blah. That place bites so much. People just weren't being very nice today. It started when like six old people were waiting at open instead of the usual two. They keep showing up earlier and earlier, I swear. And forget it if we don't open at exactly 5:30. They throw an absolute fit.. Get lives. And then some guy said some not so appropriate things...and it really irked me. I hate guys who think they should have control of women. I am an intelligent, functioning human being. Just because I work at McDonald's doesn't mean I'm a moron. Then there was the guy who got mad at me because I reminded him that the hash browns didn't come with the nintey nine cent hotcakes. He was like "I KNOW" all snappy and stuff. Well, sometimes people don't know, and I just was trying to prevent him from snapping at me. But it happened anyway. Jerk. So...four people called off today? Meaning we were shorthanded. So ridiculous. Luckily, I managed to get out of the place only fifteen minutes later than I was scheduled.
So I got home, took a shower, and waited for Erin. She came here around 3:30, so we got there by 4:00. Erin looked like she was going to a funeral because of all the black she was buying!!! (She needs it for work) I purchased a bag at Aeropostale; a khaki skirt which makes my butt look AMAZING, a pair of khaki capris, a green tanktop, two bracelets and a necklace at Body Central; a cute little owl shirt at Delia's ; and a bathing suit on clearance, flip-flops, and a brown tank top at Old Navy. Yeaaaaaaah for spending money on myself .
Then, Erin and I headed to the Olive Garden around 8 o clock. I had the Garlic Shrimp Limone...amaaaaaazing. And of course, the breadsticks were fantastic as usual. And then we finished off with the chocolate lasagna. MMM so good. We had a bunch of good conversation, duh...about weddings, engagements, kids, school, the future, etc. Definately a great day with my Erin. The conversations I have with her are usually different than the ones I have with my other good friends. I think that may be because most of my other good friends are guys. Hahahaha. .
These last couple weeks of summer are going great. Friday I'll hear from favorite, and Monday he'll be hereeeeeee to get meeeeeeee . I'm so excited.
