late updates...
first off a much HAPPY BERFDAY TO NEERAV!!! :)
he's an old man now... but its ok, i'm sure his lady friend will cheer him up... ;)
ahahah... anyways my dearies... today i was on my way to the UC and i ran into walter and he asked so i told him i was going to get food and then he busts out jokingly complaining about me and isabel and how all we ever do is eat/drink stuff in class... which isnt completely true, but yea, most of the time i guess it is.. but we get hungry!! and sure the obvious answer is eat breakfast, but see, when i'm already getting to class late, that obviously shows i dont have time for this breakfast stuff... and its actually very sad cause in high school i was one of those kids that was like "how can you not eat breakfast?!?" man i miss those days, having my corn flakes or bagels... yup yup... but anyways, i thought it was great that me and isabel have this food eating rep now.... we always complain that we eat too much and weight gain and all that, but sure enough, after class we're contemplating in front of the vending machines... oh dear, enough of that....
sooo, lemme first start with what i wanted to talk about last time, but couldnt remember... 1st... last weekend i was online and my closest friend from high school was on and we'd totally lost contact, but i thought i'd randomly im her just to see what was up and all that... i found out she's pregnant... i was like what?!?! man, that blew me away... like i was floored, i had no idea what to say... first of all we barely talk anymore and when we do its this serious topic and she was telling me how she's transferring back home and stuff... man, sooo crazy... and its also weird cause she's one of those people that you last expected to get pregnant... not that there's like a stereotype of what kinda people get pregnant when they're young... but i dunno... and she's freaking 19 too... man, sooo weird... but i guess on the good side she'll be living down the street from me again, so maybe we can kinda be friends again... i dunno... crazy stuff....
anyways.... what else?!? oh yea, then sunday i went into work and it was me and leah all day... so i walk in and right away she's like "hey, have you seen a movie called bend it like beckham" uhh...... do you even have to ask?!? come on!!! i'm like THE bend it like beckham movie obsessed person... like seriously peoples, get with it here... its only been out forever... i swear i've forced that movie down so many people and they've all loved it!! hmmmm, ok, not everybody... my parents liked it but they couldnt understand a lot of it cause everyone in the movie has the whole british accent thing going on... which is mucho sexy first of all... but a tad bit hard to understand... but its ok, after watching it a million or so times i have everything figured out... but yea, so she kept going on and on about how good it was and that made me beyond unbelievably uber happy... like *sigh* it was just greatness... and she kept remembering parts and bringing 'em up... and then asked me about some stuff and i'd help where i could... translated some stuff, etc... but i'm so glad she liked it, cause i was never sure if people here in the big ole' u.s. of a would get it.... but i guess they do, YAY!! ahahaha, i'm such a dork but you peoples dont understand how happy that made me.... hahah... yea, i'll shutup now....
ok, those were the 2 things i hadda catch up on, so now what shall i currently update? hmmm... ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... ohhhh, to clarify on the last entry... i'm not like in love with the cute produce guy... just pathetically infatuated... or something to that effect.... but yea, sorry guys, i would never in a million years be able to go up to him and start a conversation... oh goodness no...
what else?!? hmmm.... oh yes, i hung out with shain yesterday!!! man, i was all nervous and stuff... but shain i'm glad you're not some 40 year old scary pscyho serial killer man... ahahahah... and i'm glad that you didnt plant a bomb in my car for me to blow up ... ahahahha.. but yea, i got all sorts of lost, cause hey... thats just what i do, plus someone gave me screwy directions... but all was well, had chinese food and ewwwwwww, they had like weird sea animals on the buffet counter... ewwwww... and i learned that when people "cook" lobsters... what they're really doing is barbarically (sp?) throwing a LIVE lobster into a pot of BOILING water... how friggin evil is that?!?! what'd poor little sebastian ever do to you?!? i mean he sang and protected ariel, and then what?!? ya go and boil him to death?!? man, thats horrible... ahahaha, i relate so many animals to disney/other movie characters to bother other people... cause with lobsters its sebastian, with fish its nemo or flounder, pig is babe, deer is bambie, and countless others that i can't think of right now... but yea, then shain showed me how to eat some weird sea creature which looked more like a disgusting bug... ick peoples... but no worries, i stayed away from all the ickiness... ohhh, and there were such crappy fortunes in the cookies... blech... and what else... ohhhhhh, if the world is ever in need of saving (which it constantly is), don't worry.... shain can save the the day with his trusty chopsticks... ahahahahahahahah... oh dear....
but yes, apparently i'm a "funny" person and i talk wayyyyyyyyyy too much!! i think i'm slowly coming to the realization that i'm not nearly as shy as i used to be... now thats not saying i'm outgoing by any means, i've just slowly grown outta the shy thing.... but then again, the whole talking online for a few months thing doesnt hurt to build up some familiarity with the person.... so yea... i musta talked the poor guys ears off... and then i'd go and say stupid stuff without realizing it and then i'd apologize, and then in the midst of apologizing i'd say something else stupid... and yea, such a viscious circle it was... but yea, all in all it was fun stuff...
ohhhh, and at some point me and shain had a name discussion about pronunciation and such... sooo, i get back to my apt and walk in, and one of my roommates has a friend over who'se there a lot, so it was no big deal... but i go to my room and outta nowhere he's like "i'd hate to live in tejas and have a name that rhymed with 'yeehaw'"... and in my mind i'm just like "ohhh, he did NOT just freakin say that...." and i just looked at him like wtf buddy?!? and was like "my name doesnt rhyme with 'yeehaw'".... and he's like "it doesnt?!" and then proceeds to pronounce my name so that it rhymes with "yeehaw"... and oh my goodness... i was about to go smack that boy.... i was like "no, its neha" and i pronounced it the right way and he was like "ohhh, ok" and then i went in my room and closed the door at which point i'm sure him and my roommate yapped about me, but i dont care, so blech... it was annoying and really weird actually cause i had just been talking about name pronunciation stuff with shain, so yea, strange stuff...
ohhhh, and for anyone who has been internally wondering how the hell (ahahah, sorry shain ) ya say my name... note: it does NOT rhyme with "yeehaw"... more like "nay-ha" or "nay-huh" or "neigh-ha" or something like that... i dunno... but yea, i remember one time this guy didnt know how to spell my name, so he wrote it "nayha" and i just though it was absolutely the cutest thing ever... i'd never thought of it that way, i mean it looks weird and all, but i loved it... haha, greatness... but yea, just dont rhyme it with "yeehaw" and especially dont do the "knee-haw" cause well, after 20 years of that, it gets a tad bit old...... ok, *end rant*....
