Dinner with the Dad
Had a marvelous night out with my Dad tonight. He took me to J.W.'s, a steakhouse in Lexington. I must say, I was more impressed with their waiting staff than their food. Yes, they cooked my filet correctly--medium rare; but my dad's lamb was raw. (Ew.) The one good thing about dinner was the lobster bisque--absolutely amazing.
We enjoyed good conversation over good, but overly priced food. It was an interesting evening.
My dad made a point to tell me how proud of me he was. That made my night.
