um.. okay so i just got back from England...
It was a really great trip..
we spent the first few days in Oxford.. we stayed at Trinity College, in the dorms... they were pretty nice... the campus was confusing.. anyways..
so while we were there we did some cultural tours and ate at a few places, but the first place we ate at the food was okay... then i'm kind of drawing a blank...
anyways.. during the nights we went to clubs and stuff... it was fun cause we were definetely the life of the party.. most of those English people can't dance all that well... our bus driver whose name was Andrew.. started off really cute and funny, but by the end of the trip turned to be really creepy and he shouldn't drink..ever... i don't like when strange bus drivers touch me and neither do my friends... he learned that quickly...
i wasted sooo much money on alcohol... on monday night it wasn't a waste... cause i dunno, the alcohol wasn't watered down or something, but after that.. i kept buying drinks and i didn't feel shit.. i picked up on that quickly and stopped buying their crap liquor...
the best dinner was at la manoir aux quat saison... this really nice french place.. it was soo good.. we met the chef and we bought his cook books and he signed them for us...our dean decided that she didn't need to buy one tho and she stole it.. and then got in front of me in the line to get them signed.. i was pissed.. that woman is crazy..
anyways.. when we got to london, we were soo tired.. we had afternoon tea at the Savoy and then the rest of the trip was our free time in London... and we slept cause we were tired as shit...
On Friday, our last day.. we saw the crown jewels and then went to harrods which is this really expensive mall like place.. gucci, versace, ya know that shit. .and i really didn't wanna stay there and neither did two of my friends paula and katie, so we left tara and jackie and went to the mandarin orient hotel cause katie works with someone who used to work there and he told her to stop by..this place was so ridiculously nice..we were kind of nervous cause we were not dressed for the occasion at all.. and we didn't know how the chef was going to react to us... but the service there was excellent, and in few minutes after the lunch rush, he came down to talk to us.. and we asked if we could see the kitchen, and he showed us everything.. it was so amazing.. we were there for like almost two hours it was truly amazing and the highlight of the trip as far as i'm concerned... after he showed us the kitchen he introduced us to the other head chef, who then suggested that "he should sort us out with afternoon tea" so we had free afternoon tea in the dining room with the chef!!!it was sooo cool!!! i mean..just that he took out soo much time to spend with us...and then had tea with us...that was the bext and most memorable experience of the trip for me and probably paula and katie as well... i just e-mailed the chef to thank him actually.. he gave us his card...
then that night we went to this club and we were dancing, having a good time... but no alcohol cause it's like half water there anyways...
but then some people were like let's go somewhere else, but that was dumb cause there's no guarantee it would befun, and we'd have to pay cover again... we ended up going to this horrible club.. i can't give it justice here.. needless to say we left immediately...then we went back to the hotel..and slept for 3 hours before we had to go to the airport... that was painfull..lol
then we get to the airport and one of the guys on the trip with us had to stay because his neice scribbled on his passport 2 years ago and that's concidered tampering...so he's still there.. or hopefully he's on a flight right now...
and here i am ^_^
