The huge-ass presentation that has been driving me mad for the last few weeks is finally OVER. Me and the girl in my group did 90% of the work, and our group as a whole (me, the girl, a guy friend, and another guy) did not meet even ONCE before we presented. Me and the girl thought the presentation was going to be a disaster, but we actually did really well. We only needed to do a 25 minute presentation, but we were up there at least 30 minutes, including the short video clip I was able to find at the library minutes before class.

The kids have been really well behaved at work this week because they were told that if they acted up at all they would stay back at the program when we do fun stuff for spring break. I think my supervisor is insane, but he actually is considering taking the kids to Corpus Christi! Its like a 3 hour drive, and the beaches are going to be PACKED! Theres other more rational things planned too, though. We're probably going to the aquarium, some cowboy history thing in San Antonio, and definitely SIX FLAGS. That reminds me: Only ONE more class day until MY spring break. Anyway, so work has been nice this week. I swear the last two hours of my shift were spent geting rowdy and playing a wild game of "Skip-bo" (move over Uno) with staff. Sometimes I'm amazed that I get paid lol... then I remember the nights spent restraining people trying to strip their clothes off, or bite you, or anything else in between, and I think it all evens out. lol

Last thing about work (for tonight), I promise! The kids started doing monthly presentations last month (black history month), and I told them all I was dissappointed that I didnt get to see them (they did them in the morning, and Im there in the afternoon). Well, this time they begged the teacher to let them do them in the afternoon so I'd get to see them. I thought that was really sweet, and I'm excited to see them tomorrow! The topic for this month was "three choices for places to go on spring break". They've put a lot of work into the projects (a few have already done the presentation for me lol), so I'm sure they'll be great.

I went Jonesin' and Walmarting with friends after work tonight. It was SO nice not having to worry about going right home and working (or thinking about working on lol) on my research presentation!

Last but not least, to top off a super day... I BLEED! Yay! 2 weeks, and 5 days late, but who's counting?

Loveyoumeanit,
IF
