Cabin! My step-family has a cabin kinda near Mt. Ranier (in Greenwater). I used to go there all the time, but ever since my step-grandmother took a downward turn, I haven't been back. I've been trying to correspond with people to try to figure out if I can use the cabin, and success! I have been told that I can use it whenever I want (for the most part).
So yeah, I want to get a posse of kids to go down there. It's on a rad river, it's a short walk away from an awesome ghost town, and there's lots of other cool stuff. I want to go as much as possible this summer, but the problem is that I gotta rely on other people for transportation. Who's down?

My mother suggested that I start a co-op. She used to run one when we lived on the goat farm a few years back, and I've been contemplating it off and on for a while. There's a few tricks that she knows to make it fairly cheap to opperate, and I'm really into the idea of being able to get wholesale goods for the community. It'll probably cost me $100 or so to start and a few weeks to get it up and running... but I think it would be worth it. If I do it, then I'll make the first step towards becoming a business owner. Again, a big setback is that I don't have a car (and thus wouldn't be able to make the pickups and transport the goods). I think I'm going to need a business partner.
