my journey of new years eve '05
fri. dec. 30
-leave rh for charleston to meet up with j and nicole. tire pops at exit 177 on i 26..3 hours later i arrive in charleston. sit in the dmv for a while with nicole and then go shopping. drop my car with keys off at nicoles new large house and leave chars. for okatie and j's moms house. eat a really yummy dinner drink some champagne and leave for megans boyfriends (jason) band practice. i got hit on by one of jasons bandmates, then we decided to leave...he was nice...
sat. dec. 31
-drive back to chars. pick up my keys from nicoles house go shopping for a nye shirt and meet up with the btown boyz (daniel, chip and jose) in wet seal. take 20 min shopping and finish. get a sanck in the food cort and go to andreas. change and get ready for the night at andi's and then go to chars. beer works. there we gather with jonboy, neil, sb, liz, brian, frasier, lunch box, josh, tristian, pat, steph and laura. get tipsy and head to upper deck. drink some more and dance a little..pick up some cancer sticks at king street station and head to pats to meet up with about 10 more ppl included in that was robbie, amanda, chris, mamfa, mitchell, carleton and jen..yea lots of cats. then off to beth and brians house..get slpit up into 5 car loads maybe more and get there just before the countdown begins. watch the fire works and everyone kissing everyone and drinking lots of champagne and crazie fun dancing with hot guy that lives at the house, dance with some friends and get a lap dance from gay chris. finally leave at like 4 am ...we were the last ppl at the party..thank you dre for the ride back to andi's. hang out for a while with andi, anson, robbie and j..then off to sleep.
*some point in all of this i injur my foot hard core like....it really hurts to walk*
sun. jan. 1
-nicole, daneil, chip and jose come to andi's to wake us and get some food. we go to kickin chicken on james island and leave to pick up my car at nicoles. my tire that i just had replaced...is flat! go to fill it up and leave back for andi's. go to get a jacket from bebe for j on king st and realize they are closed. run in to ankit and go to 52.5 they are closed to. decided that we need to have a free poor drink and head to upper deck. it is only 5 pm. while up there we decided to film a vegan zombie movie. j and andi leave, matt and whitney join us and we start taking shots...all mini bottles are half off :). kristen, and shalee come to jion us too and lots of singing and dancing, and searches for ppl in the rain, free pizza and free shots. by 10 we decide we need to leave. we get out by 11 and watch encino man ...i know no why that is the title...theres story for that too..hahah. pass out.
mon. jan. 2
-go to andilenis for pizza, then to 52.5 to drop off some things and then to bebe for the jacket. it rains...very bad! i slip on my injured foot and well..now it is even worse. go back to andreas and her nad j play with blue-tooth tech on there puters. we go to leave and my tire is once again flat!!!! go to the gas station buy fix a flat and reinflate my tire and head home. over 3 hours later j and i make it home. katy get back from work and we all swap stories and celebrate an inhouse xmas!!!! yay!
okay that was a VERY short version of nye weekend for me. but it was still loads of fun. good night! i have to work in the am hours!
