Picture Update!!! (Finally!)
Oh guys! Here's what you've all been asking for! Pix of my apartment! It's a little small, but it's just me, so I have no complaints! ^_^ The only somewhat strange thing, is that my bathroom window, as you can see... opens into the hallway. >_<

In other news... I've been watching a lot of DVDs, since I've had literally NOTHING else to do all week. And I've discovered a couple of things:
Ever After -
I still am madly in love with this movie, especially Dougray Scott. I dunno why.
The Holiday -
Again, I love this movie. I could probably watch it on endless repeat for weeks and not get sick of it. <3 Jack Black! ("Accidental Boob-graze!")
DS9 (s1) -
FINALLY! FINALLY I have discovered WHERE I recognize Eloise Hawking (LOST) from! ZOMG! She played Mrs. Tandro in the first season episode "Dax!" Seriously, you have NO idea how much that has been eatting away at my brain for MONTHS! Apparently she was also on TNG and ENT as well, so it's no wonder I knew her. *relieved*
Earth: Final Conflict (s1) -
So yeah, I totally have no question left in my mind as to why I first fell in love with this series. These characters are so amazing! One thing I didn't remember (I was pretty young when the show was on the air... I think I was still in highschool with S5 finished) was how cutting edge and innovative the show was at the time. You know they were the first tv series EVER to film in HD! I remember them talking about it at the time, but I didn't really know then what HD even was! XD Funny the place the Roddenberry empire has carved out for itself in history. ^_^
Also! I didn't know these actors were so FUNNY! There are a couple of commentaries on select episodes... I've only watched one so far, but man! These guys are hysterical! It's seriously like sitting around and watching an episode with my friends... well, if my friends liked/knew anything about the show! XP
Oh! And I'm about halfway through the season as of this morning and it's funny the things you forget, or don't notice the first time through... I never noticed that Kari Matchett played Beckett AND Rohaa! XD Not until I watched those episodes back to back did I even notice the resemblance. I'm not that surprised though... they often reused actors... Poor Lani Parker was like... ALL of the Tae'lons for most of the first season, it looks like... at least when only one was needed at a time. I was laughing this morning watching the episode where Da'an gets kidnapped and I think Boone and Sandoval are talking to the synod leader... who totally is CGed with Leni's voice. Gotta love the ingenuity, I guess... you save money where you can! ^_^
