I saw! I don't really care about who wins this game though, lol. Though I'm sort of half-heartedly rooting for Ghana since I want an African team to get through group play.
Downloaded a Split/Second update yesterday on the PS3 version and now the game is clipping like crazy. It's definitely affecting my race results, but I can't find anything about it online yet. Super annoying.
So when I was younger I always scoffed at the "more female main characters!" argument, and I'd argue that heck, I liked playing as a hot guy.
But if I look at my gaming history now, whenever the game gave me a choice, I would invariably play as the female character. I don't think it's by coincidence that Dixie Kong was my favorite of all the DKC characters (although her helicopter move probably helped).
I made it to India in one piece! I'm soooo tired though, and I look like a little demon because my eyes are terribly bloodshot. Also, my bum really hurts from sitting for 20ish hours (out of the 30 I traveled). :( At least I'm here now.

I'm also gonna be in Halifax, Nova Scotia for two weeks (leaving on the 25th) and I get to be with my boyfriend for all that time! I'm so excited! :D
