Update on Readercon-
From August 5 - Crystal Huff, chair of Readercon, Rose Fox, program chair of Readercon, and the Readercon convention committee released a statement
1. Reversal of the board’s previous decision to only revoke René Walling’s membership to the prestigious convention for two years; the board now states that Walling’s membership has been permanently revoked.
2. The resignations of all five board members have been rendered and accepted.
3. The concom has voted to take positive, concrete actions toward increasing safety and a supportive atmosphere
