Square Enix's Final Fantasy Next-Gen Tech Demo
Soooooooo Final Fantasy is looking even more racist and glorifying the white hero even more with the next installment in their series. They illustrate what seems to be West Asian men (or "Middle Eastern" as most like to say which makes no sense to me because Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and the countries in that area are not in the middle of Asia. /mini-rant) as villains. It's really worrying.
However, I will concede that my jaw dropped and I went, "WHAAAAAAAT THE FUUUUUUUUCK" when I saw the graphics. Next gen is gonna be unreal in terms of visuals but I see no improvement in their politics. I most likely won't get the game if this is how they're going to portray West Asians; tired of seeing them as villains. I mean, am I wrong? Am I just imagining it? I'm getting a lot of "but that's how they are!" (which is a different breed of shitfuckery jfc) and "I don't see it." :\
