That was a really nice post! But omg, the Rivs guy. I feel bad for laughing, since having people come into posts and derail like that stinks, but these lines: Here’s the funny thing, alot of things that are broken is because the group that your fighting for are the very ones perpetuating the problems. Case in point Britney Spears, a supposed role model for girl. For some reason, bringing up Spears - of all people! - really amused me. If you want to try to prove that women bring this shit upon themselves, do not use a woman who was likely packaged by men to sexually appeal to other men at a very young age.

Rivs is a real piece of work. Not long ago there was some wow blogosphere drama between crankyhealer (now murlocparliment) and toomanyannas, and he 'white knighted' for crankyhealer and used the whole thing as an excuse to troll RPers. He is not interested in discussion or debate, he is only interested in being right.

I just turned 36 yesterday and am currently relaxing in Calcutta/Kolkata with ploratrix. We're planning to go out in a few hours to check out a couple of my favorite bookstores and then get lunch at a pretty decent pizza joint (since stuffing myself on biryani last night wasn't enough). Should be a fun day.

So I'm totally looking forward to getting War for Cybertron anyway, but I was thrilled all to heck when I found out today that the characters you get for completing each faction's story mode?

Arcee and Slipstream, who are pretty much my favorites ever, and both girls. (also I ship them.) So much happy. :D

I think that would be great! I was very disappointed in last year's panel and it annoys me to see PAX discussed as this lovely inclusive place where gamers can feel at home when this stuff goes on.
