So I'm making this donor painting for extra credit in my Art History class and I think it's just hilarious. I've settled on my third attempt. I couldn't do mona lisa well.
I originaly was going to use this picture of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus but the lighting was too harsh. Damn shame too, we had the same exact hairlines and face shape.
So Here's what I settled on. It's by Sir John Everett Millais and it's called The Bridesmaid. Haha, I just barely read the description. Here it is:
The bridesmaid is passing a morsel of wedding cake through the wedding ring nine times, after which she will foresee her future loved one. That is why she looks distant, for what she sees is in her mind's eye.
