Chappy Ballon Wheeze!

Oct 31, 2008 12:54

I should preface this post by saying that all of these pictures are on Facebook, so feel free to skip it if you've checked them out there. Mostly I post these to amuse my parents who don't use facebook, and all of my creepy ex-boyfriends who aren't dead or in jail.

ahhh, sacrilege.

John gives good hug. And he marries everyone ever.

Al and Sarah had an unconventional wedding, filled with joy and kazoos.

The lurve was palpable.

punk rock officiants!

It's my thing at weddings.

pinata hijinks!

oh Jason. You're the Xander of my world.

Ian pretty.

Tony displaying Frankie's assets on a recent visit.

This is Ian's old Burger King boss. He whistled songs to us while while we ordered at the drive through and made us guess the tunes. he also kindly allowed this photograph despite the no videotaping/no photography sticker, possibly because he wasn't exposing his bosoms. He has lots of teeth, like Biden.

Molly mugs for the camera on her day of birth.

Pin the tail on the donkey soon evolved into pin the tail on the Ian.

Ian's niece, Catherine Rose, turned 1 year old and got a giant cupcake all to herself.

She was only sleepy until after she shoved handfuls of sugary baked goods into her mouth, then wandered around shrieking at high volumes for a while.

Merlin in your face! rauca rauca rauca. Hello!

Shit mittens and her giant eyeballs.

The old man.

Family dinner at Rebecca's always involves children engaged in questionably safe activities.

Sarah's purdy smiles at Reade's garden party.

pre-Andy/Heather wedding, we went out for some celebratory fondue. I've never had fondue before, and found it to be tasty, but a poor cost/benefit ratio, considering you have to cook everything yourself. I think I'd stick with cheese/chocolate fondue in the future. Our waiter was super fun though.

We're still working on getting chickens. This is an insulated dog house that we picked up for 20 bucks and then, like crazy people, strapped to the roof of Ian's car. I'm surprised we didn't kill anyone.

Chrissy and her dance class injuries.

These have all frozen now, but were very enjoyable the last few months of summer. I got all excited and over planted them, so next year I'll probably transplant as much as possible for a nice privacy layer on the fence that lives on the other half of the yard.

Heather's bachelorette party involved discussing
strange biological componants of the uterus.

The evening was good fun. I planned it like a good not-maid of honor.

I loves me the Heather

And Heather loves her the drag queens.

There was nothing like watching the drag show with everyone's parents. Mine were poopy and didn't make it out.

These are the boots I wore under my floor-length bridesmaids dress. Because I rule, and am uncomfortable in lady-shoes.

The rehearsal dinner had Family Guy cake!

Wedding preparation!

Spanx for all the fun!

I was unsure about the hair. I ended up changing it to look more like regular hair, much to the frustration of the sister-in-law who tried desperately to make me look pretty.

This is what I ended up with.

Hot.

It's my thing at weddings.

How disappointing!

Andy isn't gay.

So pretty.

Clint has been doing photo shoots at my house lately, so I've been getting to see a lot of the Weather's family. It's good, because I like them.

I've also been getting to see a lot of Jacquie, since she's the one he's been shooting. I like her too. You can never have enough Jacquie.

Flight of the booberies.

Post-shoot limes anyone?

We ran into Mark and his dad at St. Croix Vinyards. It was very nice to see his father again and talk to him, even briefly. Mark then wrote about it saying he was glad it wasn't more "awkward". It would be difficult to explain all of the feelings I have about Mark, so I'll shorten it down to the fact that I'm very disappointed in him and how our friendship ended, but that's just life. I wish him well. I also don't believe in making other people's parents uncomfortable, if I can help it.

Vinyard fun!

I was there!

Goats like wine.

Pretty grapery

butt apple!

We had tasted a lot of wine at this point.

Our pourer found us amusing. He was our second, the first one found us less amusing.

Lots of tasting.

I got my 3 years at DR boat. I wish they'd at least give you a boat you can sail. I should play sink with it!

I have many more pictures to post, but I've been overwhelmed with school and work. Hopefully things will get better, and I will write a brilliant research paper on how to teach urban chickens to factor polynomials. Tonight, plans are soft, but I'm leaning towards finding the biggest flashiest party I can to impress visiting Irish co-workers. I wish you all a happy holiday. :D
