So I'm Happy, What's Wrong With That?

I once heard an interview with Lord Snowden. He's the photographer who was once married to the Queen of England's sister, Princess Margaret, and has become the royal family's personal photographer. The interviewer asked Snowden why none of his subjects were photographed smiling. He replied that smiling is an unnatural facial expression. Normally, peope don't smile. But I do! I walk down the street with a smile on my face. I don't know why. I'm just happy to be outside, enjoying the beautiful weather, and so I smile. And strangers constantly remark upon it. Yesterday, a construction worker serenaded me with the words "See the smiling lady". People see me and smile back me, at which point I realize that I must be smiling at them. Last week, a person accosted me and demand "What are you smiling at?!?" So Lord Snowden, I think you are mistaken. A smile can be a natural expression. At least it is on me.
