I had to fudge the ending into the last couple lines, then endure the realization that the Nano word counter is different from MS Word's, but yes.
Naturally this draft is crud, but that's what editing is for, to hammer something into shape. I think I can get a decent draft out of this, though must find ways to reach what is now considered appropriate novel length.
Meantime, I'll get back to my other novel project, and that Robotech fanfiction that I can't seem to leave well enough alone.
