Joseph Gordon -Levitt and Marion Cotillard CONFIRMED BY NOLAN to be in "The Dark Knight Rises"

I can't tell you how may posts i've made about this lool but FINALLY Nolan has confirmed that Joseph and Marion will be in The Dark Knight Rises!

Joseph will be playing John Blake, a Gotham City cop who is assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon -not Alberto Falcone but hey UNIFORM PORN ANYONE???!

I'm excited Nolan finally confirmed they are in!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I guess we were overthinking Joe's role. LOL ;) But I'm just happy he's officially in and it'll be nice to see him as a cop. ;)

However, I still have an odd feeling Marion still might be Talia and just under a false name. Could be wrong, but you never know. LOL ;) One reason it would make sense. Another is that the name Miranda is close to Amanda which is the name of another DC character/villian/anit-hero Amanda Waller who has appeared in almost all of the DC comics/cartoons/films. Amanda is an African-American who works for the government and sometimes was involved in trying to stop the vairous superheros or villians depending on certian storylins. She's even a character on the TV show "Smallville" right now and is going to be in the new "Green Lantern" film coming out this summer. Just find it odd and maybe that's how Talia came up with the name?

Remember it's just me specualing, but I have an odd feeling Marion still might be Talia. ;)

Oooo yeah and if she's in Green Latern then it would make sense for her to be in Btaman becasue they're thinking of doing a Justice League movie right? Like how that dude from SHIELD was in Iron Man 2 and now in Thor....

Owww if it is another character I'd actaully be quite angry at Nolan..which I don't want be lool But thank you so much for the context it's really interesting to see how everything ties =D

You're welcome!!! :D Yeah, they are wanting to eventually make a Justice League film but they might have to change some of the actors since Christian won't do it. But it would tie everything in. ;)

And I did just see this morning with another article about Joe's casting that in a Batman comic there was a little boy the Joker stole things from including a report card and the kid's name was Johnny Blake. :) It was sometime in the 90s I think. So the name is in the Batman comics. ;)

No, he's a little boy around 8 or 9 years old. But could be that the Joker made him become a cop when he got older. ;) Just odd that there was a minor character named Johnny Blake. :) And the comic the boy appeared in might have been a bit older and possibly from the 60s or 70s. ;)

Right, John Blake as an adult never existed in the comics, so Nolan's verison of him will be whatever he wants. ;)
